DONATING TO STAFS
Thank you for considering your donation to the Southeast Texas Applied Forensic Science Facility. Your generous contribution will support important medical research that could help us develop new techniques, new theories, or even solve a case. We greatly appreciate your donation.
There are two different type of donation processes- Living Donor, which is used if you are interested in donating your own body after you pass away; and Next of Kin, which is used if you have a loved one who has already passed away.

NEXT OF KIN
DONATIONSIf you would like to donate a loved one who has already passed away.
FOR THE FAMILY
We are extremely grateful for the donors and their families for their willingness to contribute to our scientific research.
STAFS Memorial Service
Each year, STAFS holds a memorial service to honor and remember those who have graciously donated their body or their loved one's body to our facility from the previous year. Family members, friends, and the University community are invited to attend the service and bring a small picture of their donated loved one to place by a candle of remembrance. Immediately following the memorial service a reception is held to reminisce and celebrate life.
Next Service: Fall, 2023
Medallion of Remembrance
When a body is donated to the Southeast Texas Applied Forensic Science Facility, a personalized engraved medallion is sent to the family as a token of gratitude and remembrance.
